What is Golang and How to install it

Go is an open source programming language that makes it easy to build simple, reliable, and efficient software.

It was designed and developed by Robert Griesemer, Rob Pike, and Ken Thompson.With its arrival, It has created an Ocean of New Possibilities!

Benefits of getting started with Golang

Every language has its own pros and cons . Ultimately, it all depends on the learner who chose the programming language that fits best for his/her purpose or interest .

Go development is best suited for those who want to combine concurrency, safety, and simplicity of the code.

So lets jump to the main points that why you should choose Go?

1-Accepted by many Tech- Giants-Golang has been already embraced by Tech Giants like Google , YouTube , Apple, Facebook, Twitter, The New York Times, BBC, IBM etc.

Like Google uses it for YouTube and Google Chrome, Uber achieved the speed of world map processing of 0.1 sec, Netflix adapted their site traffic loads with Go all this shows the power of Go.

5-Cross-platform- It works smoothly on devices like, Windows, Linux, Unix, , mobile(from 2015 on wards).

This also keeps a check on smooth performance and helps to make concurrency more efficient.

How to install Go!

1: First you need to start downloading and installing with Go IDE distributable. To make things simpler and convenient, use the default installation path at C:\Go

2: Please do ensure that Go binaries are in your Path System environment variables. To verify or to check click System> Advanced system settings, Environment Variable> Open Path under System variables

3: You can use command prompt to verify the Go installations. For this open cmd and type go version

4: Set up your work-space for Go. This consists of bin/ , pkg/, src/ .

5: Create your GoPATH environment variable and define the Go path work-space. To do this, click System> Advanced system settings> Environment Variables and New under System variables

Now set the variable name to GoPATH and value to your Go work-space path like C:\Project\Go.

Now you are ready to start with Go.

Note:-) Golang comes with a default server deployed somewhere in US, where you can try out executing some code without installing Golang in local environment.

How to install Google Android Q in Google Pixel 3

Welcome to the Tech-desk of my blog techy-vikas. This is going to be a little technical post. The update lovers and android os lovers can expect a lot from this post.

Google's new Android Q operating system has been rolled out for all the users. For now this operating system has been presented in the beta version but soon they will launch a full-fledged operating system.

The Google Pixel devices were the first to get this update. The Pixel devices like Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2XL, Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3XL were the first smartphones to get this latest update of the new operating system. If you are an existing user of Google Pixel smartphones ,then you can also update your device and get Android Q operating system.

But remember to back up your data before updating your Pixel device. In this post, you will learn how to download and install the new operating system Android Q on your Pixel device. This post contain how to update the Android Q beta version.

1. First, the users have to reach the google.com/android/beta. There the users have to enroll for the Android beta program.

2. Second, The users will get a notification after successful enrollment. The users will get a message stating " Your system is ready for the update".

3. After that you can install the update. Then after installing reset your smartphone.

4. This install and reset will bring the brand new operating system Android Q.

5. Incase, if you want to move back to your previous operating system, then there is option for the same. For this go to the beta website using the above link and then choose the opt out option.

6. After this, you will get a new update within 24 hours of choosing the opt out option.

7. Install that new update and then reset your device to move back to your previous operating system.

So these seven steps can help you to update the new operating system Android Q on your phone and there is also the option to move back to your previous operating system.

The beta version of this new operating system has been rolled out as a official beta version for Android Q.The vice-president of Google mentioned the new features of Android Q to the other Android developers on his blog.

More than that this new operating system Android Q focuses more on improving privacy and security. The Android developers of Google are adding more features in Android Q Iike more 3D filters in depth camera mode, more customised bokeh features etc. Also the other applications will take less time to load on the device if this new operating system is installed on your smartphone.

Latest OS- Google Android Q and Android 10

Welcome to the Tech-desk of my blog techy-vikas. This is going to be a little technical post. The update lovers and android os lovers can expect a lot from this post.

Google has announed to roll out its latest operating system Android Q this year. You can expect a lot of new different and productive features from Android Q. More over it has been declared that this new Android Q has 6 more different features as compared to the previous Android Pie.

According to the official reports, Android 10 or Android Q can be rolled out in the developer's conference 2019. Although there is not so much information but as per the media reports, this new operating system supports 6 new features.

Support of foldable phones

All the major tech-giants like Samsung, Huawei and many other big companies are trying very hard to make foldable smartphones. This new operating system is going to be presented with the support of the foldable phones. This great feature was showcased by the David Book in the foldable Samsung smartphone.

Dark Mode

There are chances that you may have used application which support the feature of dark mode. Infact, there are many applicationsin the play store which support this feature.Although not much official declarations are made regarding this feature, but google has given a hint about it. Google has given this feature support in its many applications like Youtube etc.

This is the hint on the basis of which it has claimed that the new Android 10 or Android Q will be loaded with this feature.

Picture in Picture Mode

In the new operating system Android !0 OR Android Q, picture in picture mode can also be given. This feature enbles you to do multiple tasks on a single screen. Like, you can work on two different windows with an ease. Like watching a video in one application, you can work in another app at the same time.

Face Recognition

Mostly, all the smartphones launching at this time have features like Face Recognition. But Google is going to support this feature natively, in this new operating system. This means that the feature csn be used in a more convenient way.

Permission

To install this feature, the user needs to provide access to all the personal data. This feature enables the feature to read all the sensitive and personal data of the user.This is going to be a productive one but you have to wait till Android Q is launched.

App Downgrade Feature

Android Q can also be loaded with the new app downgrade feature. It is the opposite of upgrade. This feature enables you to download the previous version of any application. This is going to be first ever operating system that will support the featuere of App Downgrade. No other smartphone has this feature in any ofthe existing operating system

The future of internet and date speed is now going to revolutize with 5G. Hello friends, I am Vikas and welcome back to the updates corner of my blog techy-vikas.

Friends as you know that the field of technology and smartphone is changing day by day. We see surprising and real time updates everyday. Last year was the year of 4G and especially jio 4G. But this year 5G and 5G network is going to make a big impact. New 5G industry will be launched in this year.

In a recently held Mobile World Congress, Mi and Samsung also produced a glimpse of their new 5G smartphones.They also explained how they are going to launch their new 5G smartphones and expand the 5G network.

Today in this post, I am going to inform you about three new amazing 5G smartphones. These three 5G devices will be launched in May 2019(as notified by their respective company). The list starts with Xiaomi's first 5G smartphone- Mi Mix 3. The people are eagerly waiting for Mi Mix 3.

3- Samsung Galaxy S10 5G

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has a dynamic 6.7 AMOLED(Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) capacitive touch screen. It has a 1440*3040 pixel resolution. and 19:9 ratio. This 5G phone is going to be launched in May 2019 and this smartphone will support android 9.0 OS.

2- Huawei Mate 30

Huawai Mate 30 will also be launched in May 2019 and this also supports android 9.0 OS. A 2.6 GHz Octacore HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor will be used in the Huwawei Mate 30. On this 5G smartphone, 8GB RAM and Mali-G76 MP10 graphic processor will ensure that it easily runs in memory intensive(heavy) application.

The 512 GB internal storage will expand to 256GB via microSD card. The phone comes with a powerful 4,500 mAh battery.

3- Xiaomi Mi Mix 3

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 works on android 9 OS and will be launched in May 2019. Two colour options will be provided on this 5G smartphone. This is going to be a stylish 5G phone with sliding camera and a notch low display.

Delete Facebook account or Change your password

Do you think Facebook is secure? Do you think that your fb passwords are kept secret? The answer is a big NO. Recently Facebook is exposed for keeping the passwords of billions of its users as 'plain text'.

Facebook itself agreed that the fb passwords of all its users was saved in plain text since 2012. The affected users have been requested by facebook to change their passwords as soon as possible.

Facebook has leaked the password of its billions of ussers internally. The user's password were stored as plain text or human readable text in the facebook records.

Krebs on Security () said that facebook is doing this shit from many years(since 2012). Most probably there is a possibilty that all the 20000 facebook employees could have access to the passwords. Normally the passwords are protected with encryption.

Facebook has claimed that their company was saving the passwords as plain text. Around 200 to 600 million users have been affected due to this. The facebook has sent notification to the affected users so that they can change their passwords. Facebook assured that this bug has been removed now.

For your information, i would like to inform you that this bug was first detected by the Krebs on security. Then facebook comes with a post (Keeping Password Secure) on its blog. In this post fb has clearly stated that they were storing the user's password in plain text(human readable).

Facebook stated that there are no proofs which claims the misuse of user's passwords inside and outside the office campus. So there is no need for every user to change the password. FB said that millions of facebook lite users and other fb users are affected due to this bug. Also more than 10k instagram followers are also affected.

According to Krebs on Security around 200 to 600 million facebook user's passwords were saved as plain text. The most dangerous thing is that these plain text passwords could be searched by the 20,000 officials.

After Cambridge Analytica Data Scandal, several questions have started raising on the privacy of facebook users.
